APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for Dec. 31

The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes Dec. 31 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Miscellaneous and Processed Products Manual: The following changes were made to the Miscellaneous and Processed Products Manual (here) to reflect up-to-date information and corrections.

Page 1-4, under What the Manual Does NOT Cover heading - a manual typo was corrected

Table 3-107, Lettuce (Latuca sativa L.) shredded (fresh, precut) entering into a port of entry within the continental United States - action arrows for two items (Not processed as stated above and Not a commercial consignment) were corrected

Links contained throughout the manual in the Table of Contents, List of Figures, List of Tables, Index, and internal and external cross-references and hyperlinks were all updated as necessary.
