APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for Jan. 22

The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes Jan. 22 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Postentry Quarantine Manual: The following changes were made to the Postentry Quarantine Manual (here) to reflect up-to-date information and corrections. The specific changes are listed after the page number below:

Throughout manual

  • The Postentry Quarantine Coordinator name and contact information was updated

Appendix C Directory of SPROs and State PEQ Contacts

  • Page C-6 - the contact information for Mississippi was updated

Links contained in the Table of Contents, List of Figures, List of Tables, the Index, and all internal and external cross-references and hyperlinks were updated as necessary.
