APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for March 15
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes March 15 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Manual for Agricultural Clearance: The online Manual for Agricultural Clearance (here) was revised to update the following topics:
- Taking action based on inspection
- Cleaning/cleaning and disinfecting
- Preparing specimens for identification
Changes indicated by black change bars in the left page margins are on the following pages:
- Chapter 4: Clearing Passengers, Crew, and Baggage: Pages 4-1-5 and 4-1-6.
- Chapter 6: Preventing the Spread of Pests and Diseases: Pages 6-1-9 and 6-1-10.
- Chapter 7: Preparing Plant Pest Interceptions: Page 7-1-5.
