APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for March 26

The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes March 26 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Seeds Not for Planting Manual: The Seeds Not for Planting Manual (here) was updated, transmittal 03/2013-58, to revise information for lentils (Lens spp.). Revisions, indicated by a black change bar in the left margin, are on page 3-30, in Table 3-24.

CITES Timber Manual: The CITES Timber Species Manual (here) was updated, transmittal 03/2013-30, to update the Directory of CITES Ports and Plant Inspection Stations CITES Staff. The revision, indicated by a black change bar in the left margin, is on page 5-3.
