APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for April 15
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes April 15 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Manual for Agricultural Clearance: The online Manual for Agricultural Clearance (here) was revised to update the following topics:
- Authorizing movement of Transportation and Exportation (T&E) cargo
- Cleaning/cleaning and disinfecting
- Clearance of carriers arriving from foreign points
Changes indicated by black change bars in the left page margins are on the following pages:
- Chapter 2: Examining and Monitoring Cargo: Section 2: Clearing Transiting In-Bond Cargo: Page 2-2-8.
- Chapter 6: Preventing the Spread of Pests and Diseases: Pages 6-1-9 through 6-1-11.
- Appendix F: Lists of Military Bases and Approved Garbage Facilities: Page F-1-10.
