APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for April 25
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes April 25 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Canadian Border Manual: The online Canadian Border Agricultural Clearance Manual (here) was revised to update the following:
- Facilities Approved to Clean Canadian Seed
- Establishments Approved for Processing Screenings
Changes, indicated by black change bars in the left page margins, are on pages D-6 through D-8 of Appendix D: Approved Establishments.
Seeds Not for Planting Manual: The Seeds Not for Planting Manual (here) was updated, transmittal 04/2013-60, to revise the list of USDA Heat Treatment Facilities for Niger Seed. The revision, indicated by a black change bar in the left margin, is on the following page:
- Page 3-43, Table 3-35: Changed the certification ends date for M/s A.S.A. Agrotech to April 30, 2014
