APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for June 18

The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes June 18 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Treatment Manual: The APHIS PPQ Treatment Manual (here) was revised. The reason for the revision was to change the expiration date for the methyl bromide section 18 crisis exemption. The change, indicated by a black change bar in the left margin, is located on page 2-3-4.
