ITC Rescinds Exclusion Order on Certain Variable Speed Wind Turbine Generators
The International Trade Commission has rescinded a limited exclusion order on certain variable speed wind turbine generators (ITC Inv. No. 337-TA-1218), it said in a Federal Register notice.

The ITC found Siemens infringed on one of General Electric's patents in January 2021 and issued a limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders against Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE Inc.), Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy A/S (SGRE A/S), and Gamesa Electric (Gamesa) (see 2201210028).
In June, GE asked the ITC to rescind the cease and desist orders on Gamesa and SGRE A/S. The commission granted the request but kept the exclusion order and the SGRE Inc. cease and desist order in effect. In March, GE asked for the exclusion orders to be rescinded. After no response from Siemens, the ITC granted the request and removed the orders, finding "the conditions which led to the issuance of the LEO and SGRE Inc. CDO no longer exist."
