The International Trade Commission has ended a Section 337 investigation on imports of hydrodermabrasion systems (ITC Inv. No. 337-TA-1416), it said in a notice to be published March 18. Complainant HydraFacial initially alleged in 2024 that Sinclair Pharma’s U.S. and U.K. branches, as well as Huadong Medicine, EMA Aesthetics, Aesthetics Management Partners, Advanced Aesthetics Services and H.R. Meditech, are infringing patents related to HydraFacial’s systems for skin treatment through mechanical or fluid-based abrasion or exfoliation (see 2409100036).
The International Trade Commission has ended a Section 337 investigation on imported electronic nicotine delivery systems, also known as vaporizer devices (ITC Inv. No. 337-TA-1372), it said in a Federal Register notice to be published March 7. Complainant NJOY initially alleged in 2023 that Juul Labs imports vaporizers and cartridges that infringe two of NJOY's patents covering electronic vaporizer power sources (see 2309250010).
The International Trade Commission has ended a Section 337 investigation on imports of medical programmers with printed circuit boards from Axonics (ITC Inv. No. 337-TA-1396), it said in a notice to be published March 5. Complainant Medtronic initially alleged in 2024 that Axonics is importing sacral neuromodulation systems that rely on its patented technology, including devices for use with Axonics’ F15 and R20 sacral neuromodulation systems (see 2404020033).
The International Trade Commission has ended a Section 337 investigation on imported of Dyson surface cleaning products (ITC Inv. No. 337-TA-1404), it said in a March 3 notice. Complainants SharkNinja and Omachron initially alleged in 2023 that Dyson’s stick and hand vacuums copy SharkNinja's and Omachron’s patents related to a straight-line configuration, dust-emptying system and separate dirt collection and cyclone chambers (see 2406130034).

Complainant Ericsson initially alleged in 2023 that Motorola and Lenovo, and their subsidiaries, were importing laptops and mobile phones that infringe its patents (see 2311170062).
The International Trade Commission has ended a Section 337 investigation on imported photovoltaic connectors (ITC Inv. No. 337-TA-1365), it said in a Federal Register notice to be published Jan. 21. Complainant Shoals Technologies Group initially alleged in 2023 that Hikam, a California-based photovoltaic cable company, and Hewtech, a Chinese electronics firm, along with their affiliated companies, were importing photovoltaic connectors for solar panels that infringe two of Shoals' patents (see 2306080003).
The International Trade Commission is adding DET Logistics (USA) Corporation as a respondent to its ongoing Section 337 investigation on power converter modules (ITC Inv. No. 337-TA-1370), it said in a Feb. 1 notice. DET joins Delta, Quanta and Foxconn as respondents to the investigation, which was launched in August based on a complaint from Vicor (see 2308160011). Vicor said the companies are importing power converter modules and computing systems that infringe on three of Vicor's patents related to power system technologies used in high density and high efficiency applications like "high-end" computing. The ITC is considering a limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders in the case.
