The notice follows a July 12 complaint by Vicor Corporation, which alleged that Delta, Foxconn and Quanta import power converters that infringe on three of Vicor's patents related to power converter module and power system technologies used in applications requiring high density and high efficiency, such as computing.

Vicor asked the ITC for a limited exclusion order forbidding entry of proposed respondents’ infringing products and to issue a cease and desist order.
