The Commerce Department has released its final determination in the antidumping duty investigation on gas powered pressure washers from China (A-570-148). Cash deposit rates set in this final determination take effect Dec. 21.
DOJ said an exporter waived its ability to object to the new results of an administrative review after remand, arguing it didn't adequately take advantage of its ability to comment on the review before the court (Yama Ribbons and Bows Co., Ltd. v. United States, CIT # 21-00402).
The Commerce Department issued its final determination in the countervailing duty investigation on brass rod from India (C-533-916). Changes to cash deposit rates set in this final determination take effect Dec. 18, the date these results are set to be published in the Federal Register.

A South Korean steel export company told the Court of International Trade that government intervention before and during its sale to new owners didn't constitute continuing government subsidies, saying the acquisition was still made at fair market value (KG Dongbu Steel v. U.S., CIT # 23-00055).
The Commerce Department made a preliminary affirmative antidumping determination that non-refillable steel cylinders from India (A-533-912) is being sold in the U.S. at less than fair value. The agency will impose antidumping duty cash requirements on entries of subject merchandise beginning Dec. 1, the date this preliminary determination is due to be published in the Federal Register.
The Commerce Department issued notices in the Federal Register on its recently initiated antidumping duty investigations on frozen warmwater shrimp from Ecuador (A-331-805) and Indonesia (A-560-842), and its countervailing duty investigations on frozen warmwater shrimp from Ecuador (C-331-806), India (C-533-921), Indonesia (C-560-843) and Vietnam (A-552-838). The CVD investigations cover entries for the calendar year 2022. The AD investigations cover entries Oct. 1, 2022, through Sept. 30, 2023.
