Though China was specifically mentioned in an executive order issued late March 24 announcing 25% tariffs on countries that import Venezuelan oil, India and the EU also imported Venezuelan oil in 2024, according to a report from Reuters earlier this year.

The International Trade Commission has ended a Section 337 investigation on imported active matrix organic LED display panels for mobile devices (ITC Inv. No. 337-TA-1351), it said in a Federal Register notice to be published March 25. Complainant Samsung initially alleged in 2023 that the 15 named respondents (MobileSentrix, Injured Gadgets, Group Vertical, Electronics Universe, Repairs Universe, LCTech International, Sourcely Plus, eTech Parts Plus, Parts4Cells, Wholesale Gadget Parts, Captain Mobile Parts, DFW Imports, Phone LCD Parts, Mengtor and Gadgetfix) and their subsidiaries imported replacement cellphone display screens that infringe four of Samsung's patents (see 2302020024).

The Commerce Department has published the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on seamless carbon and alloy steel standard, line and pressure pipe from Ukraine (A-823-819). These final results will be used to set final assessments of AD on importers for subject merchandise entered Aug. 1, 2022, through July 31, 2023.
