The FDA is banning the use of synthetic food dye FD&C Red No. 3, citing the Delaney Clause of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act as the impetus for the ban, according to a Jan. 15 constituent update. The ban is effective in stages, starting on Jan. 15, 2027.

CBP’s administrative offices at JFK Airport in New York will move in the spring of 2026 from their current location in JFK Building 77 to a nearby location on Rockaway Boulevard, a spokesperson for CBP New York said. The building, at 159-30 Rockaway Blvd. in Jamaica, Queens, was previously occupied by the Federal Aviation Administration.
