The Commerce Department issued its final determinations in the antidumping duty investigations on paper plates from China (A-570-164), Thailand (A-549-849) and Vietnam (A-552-839). Cash deposit rates set in these final determinations take effect Jan. 28.
EPA has delayed the implementation of several regulations until March, including one that would ban the import and manufacture of the chemical solvent trichloroethylene (TCE), it said in a Federal Register notice. The agency said it sought to delay implementing the final rule in response to a Jan. 20 directive from President Donald Trump calling for a regulatory freeze.

USDA's Agricultural Marketing Service is delaying the effective date, originally set for Jan. 27, of a final rule on certain fees related to Section 8e import inspections, in response to a Jan. 20 presidential directive calling for federal agencies to further scrutinize new regulations, it said in a Federal Register notice.
The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, as instructed by the America First trade policy presidential memo, is undertaking a review of the phase one agreement with China, it said. That review is due to the president April 1.
