The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative has issued a notice announcing that pursuant to a request of the European Communities, the Dispute Settlement Body (DSB) of the World Trade Organization has established a compliance panel concerning the U.S. implementation of a 2005 WTO panel finding that the following were inconsistent with U.S. WTO obligations:
The International Trade Administration has issued a notice stating that it is postponing the preliminary antidumping duty determination on light-walled rectangular pipe and tube from China by 50 days to January 23, 2008.
The International Trade Commission has issued a press release on its final negative antidumping and countervailing duty injury determinations for coated free sheet (CFS) paper from China, Indonesia, and Korea alleged to be subsidized and sold in the U.S. at less than fair value.
The International Trade Administration frequently issues notices on antidumping and countervailing duty orders which Broker Power considers to be "minor" in importance as they concern actions that occur after an order is issued and neither announce nor cause any changes to an order's duty rates, scope, affected firms, or effective period.
